During the espresso roast, heat is applied very aggressively at the start before slowly tapering to dry, whereas, for the filter roast, the short and high development time produces a bright taste.
Expect cinnamon, almond and brown spice at a darker roast, and citrus, black tea and red apple at a lighter roast.
